SpaceHorizons Adds Three New Members to Advisory Committee

SpaceHorizons is pleased to announce that we have added three new members to our Advisory Committee:

Dr. Johnny Johnson
Owner, Western OB/GYN Associates
Clinical Professor, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center

Dr. Johnson is President of the Mile High Medical Society - a medical society for minority doctors to mentor and support medical students and residents. He is a past member of the Board of Directors at Denver Health and a charter member of Delta Eta Boule of Sigma Pi Phi - the first Greek letter fraternity to be founded by African-American men.

Dr. Matt Gordon
Professor and Chair, Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Denver

Dr. Gordon is an avid supporter of STEM initiatives. He gives talks to K-12 programs promoting engineering and directs the DU Summer Engineering Camp for 8-12th graders. Dr. Gordon established the first engineering co-op program at DU and is a member of the South Metro Chamber's STEM coalition.

Lydia Cornell
Public Figure, 
AFI Best Actress nominee, People's Choice Award winner

Lydia is also a teen mentor, women and children advocate, producer, director, author, comedienne; and talk show host.  She is developing several new shows for HGTV, DIY, and Discovery involving innovators and makers. She is working with a team of young women scientists to bring a line of inspiring new products to market.  Her charity work includes High Hopes Tramautic brain Injury; FSH Muscular Dystrophy; drug and alcohol recovery; and Autism Awareness. Ms. Cornell is best known as the star of ABC's hit series Too Close for Comfort and as Caddyshack.)
